House of Representatives domain name hearing--A subcommittee
of the United States House of Representatives held a hearing about domain
name policy on February 8, 2001. This session was held partly to address
concerns by many leading experts that the Internet
Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) was unfair when it tentatively
approved a mere handful of new Top-Level Domains.
